Post Your Unpopular Music Opinions

Matter of fact
I'm a just throw this out there
400 degreez is arguably better than jay best album

Better than Reasonable Doubt?

NAH.

But I will say this, with Jay being my all-time favorite rapper, as a kid and even now, dudes overrate homie big time.

Yeah, he's my favorite over Nas, Biggie, Pac, everyone. But a lot of people give dude too many passes and too much credit for too many things. He has his share of hits and misses just like everyone else.

But even with that said, he's the best to me personally. His worst is better than a lot of people's best.

RD is straight utter mediorce trash compared to 400 degreez

Saw her live at the Drake/Weeknd show in Sweden....man, she can not sing. Not even a little bit.

she can't sing on a studio track...i don't know what anyone expects from her live

she is gorgeous and thats the only reason i tried to like her

Vol 3, blueprint & Dynasty>>>>RD

Saying RD is jays best album is cliche at this point

But is it really cliche when it really is his best album in your opinion.

I don't say it's his best album because it's the "cool" thing to say.

I say it because after 18 years it's the only one I can listen to completely from start to finish without skipping a track.

The blueprint and the black album are his two most overrated albums

Reasonable doubt through the dynasty is the best era. The blueprint was hot, and still is, but it ain't what everyone makes it out to be. It's my third favorite at best.

I strongly believe Big Pun would beat any rapper in a battle

Ghetty Green > Mista Don't Play

Ashes To Ashes > Albert Anastasia

Wale's best work is Folarin

Gucci>>>>>jeezy
Dude stuck to his guns n flooded us with material and put too many dudes on. Dudes bars are underrated to, lyrically came a long way from the 05-08 Gucci.

Gunplay and pusha are my 2 favorite rappers tho. Dudes are so slept on

- Stillmatic is overrated. Untitled is underrated.

- Indicud is a great album

- People are too caught up on Rick Ross' past as a C.O. to acknowledge his improvement as a rapper and based on his body of work is honestly one of the better acts currently. A high B level rapper, if you will.

Juelz Santana got his food ate by Wayne on damn near every song on the I can't feel my face mixtape.

Guess I'll play, just my handful of opinions
Curtis Mayfield's Superfly is a top 10 album ever made
if Jay Electronica had any type of work ethic he would be a top 10 rapper ever
Ob4cl is the best rap album ever made

400 degreez changed the rap landscape
RD not so much

Drake is just another _ making catchy radio songs now. His last great verse was that Stay Schemin verse.

Ab Soul's Control System is a classic.

I love College Dropout but I don't think it's as great as most people think. You can tell Ye was still tryna be a rapper at that time, some of his flows and lyrics sound rusty. He was at his best during the GOOD Friday/MBDTF time. Songs like Chain Heavy, Don't Stop!, Power and Gorgeous are lyrically some of his best songs.

I prefer college drop out kanye
At least then I know he had to at least write SOME of his lyrics
I doubt kanye has wrote any of his own verses since
U can tell the difference when he raps now and when he actually tries to freestyle
His freestyles sound college dropoutish with flow and delivery
While his flow on songs now while sound good
Just doesnt seem genuine like its from him
If that makes any sense
