Brendan's homer just squeaked over probably the shortest part of that entire fence.

Franklin is already better than Ackley.

Endy Chavez is a solid ball player. Quietly the most consistent hitter on the team.

And Dave Sims sucks....the energy away from all of those homeruns.

I never liked the centered angle too.  It feels too high and just awkward for me. Oh well.

Catcher Jesus Montero, who was demoted to Triple-A Tacoma on May 23, was diagnosed with a torn meniscus in his left knee on Saturday and will undergo surgery next week, the Mariners announced. Montero, 23, is expected to miss 4-6 weeks.
