So who's on the list for summer call ups?

Franklin

Zunino

Hultzen?

and what happened to Erasmo? Has he even pitched since his injury issue in ST?

Franklin and Triunfel leading the race at this point - Also think Brad Miller, Stefan Romero, and Mike Z could be Sept. call ups. Andrew Carraway for pitching. Hultzen been out for a month, depending on how much longer he's going to be out, he could up by September, too.

Seeing Montero just makes me think of when Calabro went in on him about his demeanor last year. I think it was during a Texas series

Thought he overreacted then, now? maybe not as much.

Sucks about Hultzen. I remember Carraway having a dominant stretch sometime last year but havent paid much attention to him since then.

It's a sad situation when Justin Smoak has the highest OBP on your squad

Smoak on pace for about 100 walks for the season.

They should end the Jesus Montero 'the catcher' experiment and find a place for him in AAA where he could get consistent playing time and work on his swing and pitch recognition. He whiffs at some of the most ridiculous pitches, it's unreal. He can't hit nor field well enough to play daily at this point...shipping him to AAA is literally the only way to salvage his development.

I don't know what this team is gonna do. Montero is clearly only going to be useful as a DH, that is, if he hits the way he's supposed to, which means Morales probably doesn't get signed or they move him to first and let go of Smoak. I think that's another step back defensively though.

The only reason Franklin isn't up is because they have little faith in him as a big leage SS and there's already this logjam at 2nd since if you even want to consider Ackley moving to OF then the obvious replacement is a proven Seager. I know they're high on Brad Miller at SS, so that spot may be ok. Ryan is just a bridge.

Saunders is this teams everyday CF as far as I'm concerned. Guti is a waste of a roster spot. Morse is eh on defense, but easily their biggest and most formidable bat, so they'd have to sign him, right?

There's a lot of sorting out to do.

He got screwed there on that call... should have been strike-3... instead, it was a ball and 2 pitches later, 3-run homer.

He was due for some regression.

The Indians spit on his split and he had to bring the ball up. Him and Kazmir both left a ton of pitches over the plate. Especially not beneficial on the hottest day of the year here.

And yeah, Laz Diaz is the worst.

I really miss Eric Wedge.

Bourn and Kipnis due up (both left-handed). The Mariners have three left-handers in their bullpen.

Ehh... let's go to the wild right-hander.
