**Seattle Mariners 2024 Season Thread ** | 6-8 | v. Cubs & Reds |

1.5 back.

I should just stop. It's early May

Vargas could be tough tomorrow and Yordani may be a big test on Saturday.

Just checked out Nino's stats for this season compared to his time with the Ms last season and it's pretty encouraging.

He's had a little more than half the ABs this season, as 2013, and already has as many HRs and doubles.

Yes his Ks are up but he's still young and surely his plate discipline will improve.

At least he's making-up for that defence with some... no, wait...

Vargas just waltzing back into Safeco and throws a shutout.

Good for him. Always was a fan, but damn....Ventura tomorrow. That won't be easy. Hopefully he's erratic and can't find the zone to give the M's a chance. These dudes can't hit.

M's called Jones up to take Almonte's spot, but it doesn't seem like he gets the starts that Almonte did. Is Seattle's reasoning for Romero/Gillespie still getting PT solely because they can bat right-handed? Um...they're kind of still not hitting..

lets play a game. Would y'all rather have

700
Or
700

Chris Young has been coming through, I swear with Paxton out early, Kuma barely coming back, and Walker yet to even play this season, it could've been more Welp-ful.

Edit: Rodney ties for 3rd in the league in saves hahaha
