EliasWas waiting for Victor and Miggy to start cranking but Elias pitched a helluva game. His curveball is almost Zito-like. He's got a bright future.

Mitch in the morning said out loud what I always tell myself when Maurer pitches in that the Mariners won't ever get over the schnide as long as he was in the rotation because if you noticed, the Mariner's would start humming along and look as if they'll break the .500 barrier, but then Maurer takes the hill and ruins everything.
