2014 season is in the books. It's been fun fellas. Pitching staff totally ran out of gas, which Pax has no excuse to do so given his fresh arm...

:smh:

really wanted yall to make it, wouldve been sweet if 3 al west squads made it...as bad as oak is now and with tex taking 9 of last 10, i can easily see chokeland being chokeland

hoping to get a slot over at swedish or VM, so i plan on taking of of my boys season tix to the hawks and a few m's games

i just hope you dont waste money on howard, no matter how much philly picks up (couldnt be that much anyhow)

/cant wait for my night court shirt

They need to take the next three in Toronto, or its pretty much lights out.

M's have 1 (Felix), maybe two (Paxton?) Reliable starters. I'll throw out tonights game for Paxton. Every pitcher has a game like this sooner or later.

What really worries me is Iwakuma. Dude has looked like trash for the past month. Not a good time to breakdown.

Screw the lefty vs. righty platooning crap, best matchups, etc. Put the best guys out there Llyod and go down swinging.

Is he just outta gas?  Same with Elias & Young, I think... just too many innings?  Pax & Walker might be ok, but... welp.

This team hasn't made the playoffs since 2001 so I'm not losing my mind, but at the same time, you have to give them the label of typical Mariner choke artists. There are some serious mental midgets on this ballclub. Bunch of guys hitting well below their career averages, not using baseball IQ at the plate (swing at first pitch after a walk), and struggling against mediocre pitching. How many pitchers with 4-5 ERA's shutdown this team? Too many.

Jack Z getting an extension is the worst part of this season. It was his inability to find bats that hogtied this team into its position now. 1 or 2 more quality bats and this team would be in the top wildcard slot.

Well. We had a good run. Surprised a lot of people. Can't be mad about the huge steps forward this team took this year

Given this team has been choking since I can remember, and given the pitching staff's success this season, it is unfathomable that they all fell apart at once like this. I'm mad as hell.

One step forward, six steps back. And with this ownership, there's no guarantee the team will be in contention in 2015 either.

Hurts watching this team and I hope ownership does invest a little more on the product on the field. Cano was a solid addition, and they tried with Kendrys and the Jackson/Denorfia trade, but there was still obvious holes that need filling.

This offseason will be crucial, if ownership/FO continues playing checkers they'll never get anywhere. By not changing, they'll end up ruining guys like DJ Peterson and other hitting prospects similar to how Ackley/Smoak/Nino have had set backs.

I'm never going to abandon this team because so much of my childhood is tied to it, but that doesn't mean I won't look elsewhere for excellent/exciting baseball(Dodgers).

Sorry bruh. I don't see how anyone could say this season was a disappointment
