**Seattle Mariners 2024 Season Thread ** | 6-8 | v. Cubs & Reds |

Welp.

Next year will be the year. BOOK IT

As much as this team can infuriate me, they gave me alot more to cheer for than they have in a long time and at least they made the Safeco worth it last night :pimp:

They exceeded everyone's expectations even in falling short. I can live with that.

As always boys its been a pleasure to enjoy the ride with ya'll

Well, it was a better year than expected. I will be making the trip down to Peoria for spring training next year. If you've never experienced spring training, I highly recommend it.

It's been fun fellas.

Next year we need everyone who lives in the area to meet up for a turn up :nthat:

Which one of you guys was rocking a NT fitted on on Capitol hill on Saturday night? :nerd:

Saw it as you were getting into a Uber or something and I had to double take

Started tapping and pulling but you didn't see me. :frown:

:smile:lol I didnt actually TTP)

Why would Condor be moved?
According to Sandy and Church, 1) Lloyd doesn't like him. 2) Saundo has been given indications that lead him to believe that he won't play in an M's uni again.

I hope that something changes. If he can stay healthy he's the best overall OF on the squad.

Sounds like Z and McClendon think Saunders injuries are preventable and he isn't doing his job to prevent them

http://www.lookoutlanding.com/2014/...curious-comments-on-michael-saunders-injuries

I think the biggest challenge with Michael has been trying to keep him healthy. I think he had 230-some at-bats this year, through the course of the season when you were hoping he’d have 500-600. I think that’s been the issue, not only this year but in years gone by so, the challenge for Michael is to prepare himself to be able to play a complete season. Now, some injuries are freak injuries—other injuries are injuries that are, you know, could they have been prevented and I think that’s something for Michael to answer. But he’s a talented player, he’s a very, very nice young man and, do I hope Michael’s a part of this thing? Of course I do. But it’s up to Michael to put himself in a position where he can play through the course of a full season.

Saw that on LL earlier.

If they're going to fault Michael for that, I agree dude does not stay on the field and that's a problem. But then you go out and sign Corey Hart? LoMo with injury history? Mike Morse? Chris Young? Stop finding injury riddled players then, dumb #@^
