Joey!

The darkhorses in the lineup are LoMo and A-Jax. A lot depends on their productivity since they are the clear cut players at their respective positions. Please A-Jax, don't hit .225

Sinner, lots of good stuff in there. I'm glad he's still part of the organization in some way.

I hope he takes Alex Jackson under his wing :smokin

He has stories for days and needs to make that audio book.

Yeah Tai is ready for sure. That outing the other week where he got out of that little jam assured me personally.

I love how the M's truly have 4 must watch starting pitchers (sorry Happ).

Edit: Happy Felix Day, man child Alex Jackson starting in RF today against the Royals.

Had a chance to get to spring training this year and caught two games (one in Perioa, the other in Mesa I believe). The team looks really good and the stadium (Peoria) looks amazing since the remodel.

This team has the ability to make some noise and do something special. If they can just avoid the outside noise and pressure of being a favorite, then they should be good to go. If the Hawks can do it, why can't the M's?

Zunino is hitting the ball really well in ST, the second HR he hit today was a no doubt shot.

They've been talking about the adjustment to his stance that he made and how it allows him to get to balls quicker, we shall see.

Feel horrible for Sanchez and his family. I hope the organization would help them out a bit financially.

The battle for the final spot in the Seattle Mariners  rotation has all but ended, with Taijuan Walker  appearing to have won the job. That said, the team may not stop at just five starting pitchers for 2015.

As Bob Dutton of the Tacoma News Tribune writes, "Club officials won't come out and say it, but signs point to the Mariners employing what amounts to a modified six-man rotation over the next six months in order to be ready to handle a seventh month. Yep, the Mariners are thinking postseason."

Dutton believes that because both Walker and James Paxton, should they both make 30 starts, would flirt with the danger zone for overwork: "Standards vary, but clubs tend to get antsy, in terms of injury risk, when a pitcher goes more than 40 innings beyond his previous season. Going more than 40 innings beyond their career high is another red flag."

By using Roenis Elias  and, to a lesser extent, Jordan Pries and Danny Hultzen to lower the starts required by the first five members of the rotation, the Mariners could keep their staff from burning out before October.
