Nah, Just chilled with my mom this time around. Reminds me that I have to hit up that Philly though.

Today's game was eh. I always love going and today I was "that guy" and kept book. I went from hoping the M's would put together a string of runs, then when they were down 3-0 I was kind of hoping to see history in a no-hitter. That got broken up in the 5th, where I became bummed I was missing the WC Final. When I saw they lost I bought a beer and chilllled.

Really though I'm just ready for this season to be over, M's need to do a lot of re-thinking.

Am I really seeing 4 runs in one inning, and 5 runs before the third inning? Yikes! Must be the ballpark.

On a sidenote: The other day Seattle re-called Carp and sent Peguero down. Peguero homered last night.

Good move though.

Don't know if anyone reads Geoff Baker on the Seattle Times online, but he put up an amazing column today. He's been on fire this season. I'm convinced he sits at his computer at home all night with a bottle of red and just pounds the keyboard. Notice today's entry was posted at 5:00 AM.

I didn't really read him before (not a Mariners fan), but I was bored one day and clicked on his column one day and I've reading ever since, even though i don't know half of what he's talking about.

SinnerP: I just dont see a huge sell off. Zduriencik had an interview on the Paul Silvi show about a week back and  he said he feels we have the right pieces in place and although he's called up some youngsters sooner than he wanted, things are going well minus the recent slump. Although he knows he needs a a big bat or two, he was really hoping that Wedge could get his hitters to wake up, leaving trading as a very last resort.
