The hell?

This offense once again with no life. I don't see how Jack Z keeps his job past this season if the 1-3 run offense sticks around all season. Why trade all these great pitchers if we're getting no punch at the plate?

Every M's fan should love this:
Solar panels are being installed at Safeco Field — 168 Panasonic SANYO HIT[sup][emoji]174[/emoji][/sup] Double solar panels to be exact. They’re being mounted on the roof of the skybridge that connects Safeco Field with the parking garage. The work should be completed next week.

The project is part of the Seattle Mariners ongoing commitment to sustainability that includes electric vehicle charging stations, high-efficiency lighting and other conservation and eco-friendly measures. At least eight other Major League Baseball stadiums have some type of solar installations.

The 32.76-kilowatt system will generate approximately 40,000-kilowatt hours of power annually which will go into the Safeco Field distribution grid.

Panasonic, through its recent acquisition of SANYO, a long-time Mariners corporate partner, has placed large screen TV monitors around the ballpark so fans can track the amount of power generated by the solar panels.

Sweet. Japanese ownership is smart going with Sanyo Panasonic. You can also charge your Nissan Leaf at the ballpark.

Was going to ask who was going to pitch when the season resumes, but on my way to the store Rizzs answered that for me.

Sounds like Vargas will go on Friday and Felix on Saturday, even though ESPN has it listed as the opposite.

^^I was hoping it turned out that way. Was so disappointed Felix didn't pitch the home opener last season (the game itself was a blowout loss too). I just got my tix last night and am so excited for next Friday. I think Ackley is going to have a breakout year. Anyone else going to the home opener?
