Days like this suck, but we have to look forward. The season is a marathon and we have to remember there is a lot of baseball left.
The goal remains the same: let the bats continue to develop, and continue to see which arms are more consistent than others.

We all like to dream of a post-season birth in April, but the reality is we are in rebuilding mode.
However, a post-season birth is still VERY possible and will actually be a plus as long as we see progress in our guys...

I know as a baseball fan (in general), I should appreciate how special this was, but damn, nothing pisses me off more than seeing my team lose... and in this manner.

well, hultz should be in aaa later this yr

tai (the youngest one!) and pax i think should make debuts in the L this yr...unless you guys are really against starting their service time

ack, jesus, and smoak are good cornerstones for the bats



its not all gloom n doom, pieces are there
i mean, as a a's fan, both of us are not challenging tx any time soon

would you rather be laaaaaaaa of socal? throw redic loot at torri, gmat, vernon, and pooh?

Yeah The Big 3 are there, pitching wise we'll be good.

I wouldn't want the team to overpay for a player but I feel like somewhere down the line we gotta sign a established bat to go with our young guys

and I'm starting to worry about Smoak, it's still early but he's gotta start showing something consistent out there

I can't wait until we can dump some of these older guys who arent doing much for us right now..Especially Chone and his contract

I'm as patient as they come when building a team, but I'm done with Smoak. The nail in the coffin was his damn commercial. He can't hit nothing more than seeing eye singles. His punch the tree down like he swings an axe commercial pisses me off. Gets in the batting cage and  you hear the crack of the bat while his monotone one-liner of "timmmbbeer," implies he went yard..?????...  Go +$@% yourself JS.
