Mike Zunino went 3-4 last night, with a HR and a 2 run single, as well. Thats 12 RBI in 4 games played.

Montero should be afraid, Zunino is on Booker T status...

Someone should be afraid, that's for sure. At this point I would love to have Zunino get a chance. Don't care how soon it is. This team needs production. Send Montero and Ackley down for 3 months for all I care.

I am actually more encouraged with Smoak at this point than I am with Ack and Jesus. He looks stronger and I like his approach at the plate. Hitting it hard, just not always finding holes.

Smoak and Ack are at the worst average defensively, I actually think Smoaks D is underrated there at 1B. Montero on the other hand - has been below average in all aspects this season.

8 games is a small sample size though, but if the trend continues a lot of big decisions will have to be made by June if not sooner.

I think I read they could consider moving Beaven back to a long reliever type role. I don't think it would hurt to try - our BP has always been a strong suit it's gotta be lack of starting pitching.

It's so weird to me how random that last night, of all nights, would be the all-time low in attendance. I can understand the Astros not drawing a big crowd, but still...2nd home game of the season for a team supposedly on the rise. Seattle not excited.

I said before that I don't mind switching the lineup around too much with a young team like this, but sometimes you can over manage. What's the point of taking Morse out of the lineup tonight, ya know? He's the hottest bat they got and you wanna bench him? Save it for when he really needs it.
