Can we stop with the bs and call up some young talent? This team needs some kind of fire lit under its *****. The Mariners also need to burn Harang's jersey and lock him out of the club house. Stop wasting my evenings Mariners!!!
 
today on KJR they were talking about what montero brings to this team. they came up with cool hair cut, good tip toer, and he catches better than olivo :rofl:

And I was actually considering going to the game on Sat - mainly for the Felix bobble head but I might just grab that and walk right out the gates. I heard the Jimmys next to the silver cloud is a nice spot for drinks.
 
Bonderman?  Time to give him a shot?  Harrang prob needs to be DFA'd.

same boat as you. i dont wanna spend full price for a good seat, and im having issues with my calf muscle so i ain't about that 300 level life

Yes to Bonderman. Maurer earned his spot in the rotation out of spring and has since gained lots of great big league experience. He and the coaches know now what he needs to work on to become better. He can do that in AAA. Let's see what Bonderman can bring for the time being.
 
Good move. Overdue. Hopefully this serves as a wake-up call for others, although I'd still like to see Smoak and Ackley sent down.

Triunfel is still killing it down there.

At least Ack can play some good 2B and has speed, while Smoak has the occasional pop in his bat.  Montero can't catch, run or hit. Good riddance. We'll probably see Mike Z up before we see Montero again.

I think we can find an excuse for anyone to remain with the M's, but it's just not enough if they want to win. Not when they got guys performing down at AAA and flexibility with players on their current roster to make the neccessary changes.
