Damn, I missed that. You could tell even after the first inning that Felix wasn't pleased with the strike zone. They were close, but they were balls. Felix is used to getting those calls. I feel the strize zones have been issue with lots of umps this year though.

Anyone else feel like Blowers doesn't like Sims

I don't know, but I feel like their commentating is disjointed. Like Blowers will lead into something and Sims doesn't go that direction or vice versa. It's whatever. I'm dont complaining about Sims.



I missed a good portion of the game, but was surprised to turn the game on in the 7th real quick to see Tampas starter still in there. Maddon was hell bent on not starting their road trip having to dig deep into the pen.

I kept getting updates on my phone as we scored in the 1st and 2nd, that was hilarious. 9 updates in 3 innings, holy crap what an outburst.

Felix could be a 20 game winner finally.

Just took a quick look at Romero's stats of late because I feel like he's been figuring it out and getting better.

He's only hitting .277 in May, but he's raised his batting average from .211 at the end of April to .243 halfway trough the month. All 6 of his RBI's, both of his HR's and 10 of his 18 total hits on the year have all been this month. Encouraging.
