Keep em coming Kendrys

Looks like the guys are seeing Dickey's knuckleball well early, a lot of the outs have been on hard hit balls. Maybe the runs will keep on coming tonight

So...the only three players that have hits so far tonight were acquired through trades this season...

Jordan Babineaux is at the game. Go find him he just posted a pic from the bullpen area we all hung out at

Kuma also is a bargain compared to the other Nippon pitchers...

No doubt, I think he should get more pub than he gets. He has 2 seasons now under a 3 ERA. How many pitchers can say that their first 3 seasons in MLB?

If it weren't for a certain King, he would be the best pitcher in the AL West

:pimp: Kuma

Best Japanese pitcher in the MLB (healthy pitcher that is  )
To think his fastball was even better pre-shoulder injury. Pinpoint control, induces ground balls. What's not to like if you're a manager.

Didn't Seattle pay under $5M total for Kuma?

Didn't he have a ridiculous WAR last season?

In five rehab starts with the Rainiers, Michael Saunders is batting .353 with 7 walks, 1 double and 2 runs batted in.  He's managed to reach base safely in 13 of his 24 plate appearances, which is pretty ridiculous.  Whenever he rejoins the team, his bat and plate discipline will really help this lineup.  If he can come back and produce the way he did before his injury, that would be a huge addition.
 C'mon Condor....stay healthy

Michael Saunders' wife had a baby boy, according to McClendon. He'll likely resume rehab stint in Tacoma tomorrow or Friday.
Baby Condor has arrived

Patrick Kivlehan has recorded a base hit in 10 of his last 11 games.  During these 11 games, he's 16-for-39 with 6 walks, 2 doubles, 1 triple, 2 home runs and 7 runs batted in.
Can't wait to see him in AAA and see if he can continue to adjust at a fast rate

In case you somehow missed it, Taijuan Walker looked a lot better in his latest start for Tacoma on Sunday.  Just one week after his worst performance of the year, he pitched one of the best games of his career.  Walker went 7.0 strong innings, allowing only 1 earned run on two hits with 13 strikeouts and a walk.
Tai looks ready
Where there's Smoak, there's.........ugh, nevermind.  But seriously, Justin Smoak is kind of on fire lately.  Over his last 10 games, he's hitting .378 with 7 walks, 3 doubles and 3 runs batted in.
meh...Smoak would have to hit .600 for me to believe again

Great news about Saunders. Possibly another spark at a great time.

Hopefully Tai stays consistent this time around. He could be a valuable addition.

Still done with Smoak.

 at Smoak. Career AAA ballplayer

Yes Champ, Kuma's WAR and WHIP were unreal. If he played on a team with a better offense, he'd be working on his 2nd 20-win season already.

Saunders is welcome back. McClendon is excited about Paxton, if he can pitch like he has, we're talking about 4 potential shutdown pitchers come playoff time.
