GOING TO REHAB UHHH-GAIN

At least you're not as hostile as that other guy who's in for weed.

Congrats to all the folks in here who made a choice in their life to choose a better path than the one they were on. I can't fully imagine what it's like, since I've never been addicted to anything, but I know enough, have read and seen enough to know that it takes a strong minded individual to constantly fight a battle every single day and win that battle.

My hat goes off to you all...

I tried to stretch the life of my Sneaker lineup when I was in the original program for 15 months. But those shoes are loooooooong gone, and were thrashed, Nike makes some quality products to be worn day in day out.
Time for a celebratory drink
Maybe for others, but not me,

because for me...............................

TO DRINK IS TO DIE!!!

Fortunately for me I'm guided by a power greater than myself, and a Force so strong that when I made the decision to get sober, I never had the obsession to drink again.
There's never been a time, where I was like, "Eff that, I need a drink!"
But there have been times where I'm like "Eff that, I don't want to help this guy he ain't going to stay sober anyways!!!"
Or
"Eff that, I don't need to keep doing those things, because I KNOW how to stay sober!!!"

Gentrification. .. through AA's 12 steps, concepts for world service, and 12 traditions

but more simply....

I JUST HELP PEOPLE ALL THE TIME, AND TRY TO MAKE OTHERS IMPORTANT...

there's times when I don't want to do it, but I like to look at life through A NEW PAIR OF GLASSES

NOT ROSE COLORED,

But...

A NEW PAIR OF GLASSES

Congrats my dude. try smoking weed insted or is this a bad advice? anyway best wishes to you man

try smoking weed insted or is this a bad advice?

sound advice lol. I'm an alcoholic, been to rehab, just over a year sober.

I smoke trees every day. It's legal here in Denver though so I don't have to worry about anything.

Unlike alcohol, I do not experience relentless cravings for weed. I can smoke every day for a week then not smoke for a month and it doesn't bother me.

During my darkest days of alcoholism, I was drunk 24/7. Sitting in the parking lot at 6:30 AM, chugging a pint before work...it was bad lol.

Man I don't preach to anyone. No one is trying to hear you anyways.

Spot on with the tree. I haven't drank in a year and a half but blaze daily. Def no need to smoke except to sleep. That's a whole other issue though not drug related at all. Tree> ambien I just can't sleep without the aid of something.

Great Job OP here's to 40 more years and 40 after that.

I work at one and some people have been in and out for years.

Addiction is hard
