Niketalk designs should stick to simplicity, in my opinion.
Lower the price as well, and more people will buy.

Although, nice thing done for the community.

ehhhhhhhh i might have considered for 30 but 35? pass.......the last design was much better.......that being said i still appreciate all the work and effort.

We don't want to sell cheap garbage. If we wanted to produce thousands of 1 color, one side print generic t-shirts, yeah we could sell themfor $15.

If you want small production runs, multiple colors, 2 sided printing, custom embroidery, etc. then the price will reflect that. That's just economicreality.

We're not concerned about selling out - these obviously aren't going to make it through the weekend. There are thousands of users on NT, each withdifferent tastes. Some people complained that the first shirt was "too plain," and I'm sure many of them love this new design. Those who lovedthe first offering may find this shirt too flashy. Pick your favorite sneaker, I can find a few thousand people on this earth who HATE it with a passion.

This wasn't about compromising in order to achieve broad appeal, cutting costs to inflate profits. This was about producing the best possible 8thanniversary t-shirt and offering it to our members - albeit on a limited basis. (Steez is busy enough as it is, we don't need him shipping t-shirts fromnow through 2008)

Yes, it's the same brand. What, specifically, did you have a problem with on the first shirt? Alstyle makes very high quality shirts andthey're used by a number of popular independent streetwear brands. We looked at a variety of different shirt types prior to selecting this particularmodel. Of everything we checked out, this shirt was the clear winner in terms of fit and feel. It's a premium product, certainly in a different classthan the average t-shirt and far superior to the t-shirt base used on the original NikeTalk tees back in '01.

DTRT Spiz'ikes are limited. The Black/Red XIV retros are probably still on store shelves somewhere.

We produced enough of the classic NikeTalk shirt so that everyone interested could buy one. It's a timeless design that you can wear with pretty muchanything, unless you're obsessive about matching and, even then, there are plenty of items you could hook with it. That's probably the only t-shirtwe're going to produce massive amounts of, at least for the near future.

This shirt was created in honor of our 8th anniversary, so it's something we're ONLY planning to offer for a limited time. You have to consider, too,that shipping these shirts requires a LOT of time and effort on Steez's part. Unless we PAY people to handle the shipping for us, we have to keepquantities reasonable. Steez already has a job - and it isn't www.nketlk.com's shipping department. I'm sure you'd rather we offer 175 tothe public than offer zero to the public and keep something like this as staff only.
