NBA Draft Thread 2011

He doesn't play like Wright and has more wing skills than Randolph @ the point where they came out of college.

I wasn't specifically saying that he was like them in the skills department. I thought that Outkast was talking about a 3/4 "all of the potential in the world" but flops in L type of dude. He handles the ball better than Randolph when he came out but I'm not sure that he shoots better than him, though. The only thing that Jones and Wright have in common is being soft & lackadaisical on the court.

People thought Brendan Wright could play the 3 coming out of UNC? That dude could barely dribble

I see what y'all are getting at. I'm just nitpicking.

WOW Great move Jereme.NBA teams are dying for underclassmen with limited skill sets and off the court issues.

Kemba Walker sounds like he may return to Connecticut.

The most candid answer he gave came Sunday when he said, "If I'm in the right situation, I'll have to take my chances."

UConn coach Jim Calhoun said that Walker told him long ago that he plans to return and jokes that "I'm holding him to it." But the possibility is real.

"Everyone's got the assumption that I'm leaving," Walker said. "Everybody says, 'Oh, he had his Senior Night already and he's graduating early,' but that's not even the case. I just want to get (class work) over with because if I was able to come back, I would have maybe one class. . . . I don't see why people make those assumptions."

Walker was asked Sunday whether there would be anything left to accomplish if the Huskies captured the title.

"Yes, if we win a national championship, I'm thinking back-to-back," he said. "We'll have a great team. We'll have the same team, actually. If I could get back to this point again, it would be fun. These guys are like my brothers."

just read this on RealGM, it would be kinda crazy if he came back.. but i doubt it.

Players who likely project to be NBA back ups don't turn down Top 10 money in a weak draft.

Or at least they shouldn't.

Honestly I think that SF from Europe or Kemba will be the best player from the draft, UNLESS Barnes declares.. Perry Jones seems to content w/ coasting, Irving reminds me too much of Conley, while Williams is a tweener. Walker reminds me a lot of Tim Hardaway, and will be either a rich or poor man's version of him.

I bet you Irving stays one more year. He could have alot of fun with Rivers.
