VEGETARIAN COOKING THREAD VOL. LET THAT BOY COOK

Haven't kept up to this thread :smh:

Cooked some black bean vegan burger yesterday and I should've taken a pic.

Anyway, baseballer10p baseballer10p , that tofu in your pic is marinated with what? Thanks

Did they stay together well? I've tried to do black bean burgers a few times but they always end up too soft inside. I tried it on the grill before and it was a hot mess lol.

Vegan here...although I do consume a boiled egg or two when I feel the need or want. Will post up pics of a few of my meals soon.

Look up mike dolce. He's a trainer/nutritionist for a lot of big mma fighters and he has some good books and does a podcast. It's not completely vegan, but he does have a lot of vegan recipes and even does portions of the year where he goes vegan. It's basically just the idea of earth grown nutrients and high quality meats. It's not a new concept, but I feel he relays the message and ideas well.

Go for it and don't look back :pimp:, but also don't forget you also need an active lifestyle if you are serious about getting in shape. Diet alone isn't the only answer.

Thai Curry with Seitan, Fresh Basil from the garden for garnish

Eggplant Stir fry; with Zucchini, Radish and Carrots.

if you love spaghetti try spaghetti squash its a healthier alternative very easy to make. Just add you favorite tomato sauce.

Spaghetti Squash is live, just bought 2 last night. Just don't over cook it! That video above is legit.

I prefer roasting mine in the oven. Gotta cut it in half and removed the seeds before though. They're super tough to cut so be careful.

oven is the better cooking option.

Anyone tried broccoli and cauliflower mashed potatoes? I gotta find a recipe I had before.

Made spaghetti squash for the first time. It's a little crunchier than I expected. I thought it would be closer to actual noodle consistency. I cut it in half, took the seeds out and then put olive oil and black pepper on it. I cooked it at 375 for 40 minutes. Should I go longer next time?

The other stuff is just fried onions with black beans
