I don't know if this question has been asked yet, but do these breathing holes actually help keep your guys's feet cooler? During the summer my feet is sweating like crazy regardless. IMO I think they are just a gimmick to the shoe. What are your thoughts on this?

It probably helps a little bit, but when the sun is beating down my feet feel the heat (dunks).

Those holes won't do much for your feet, or anyone's for that matter, if we're talking about middle of summer temperatures. I don't consider it a gimmick however since Nike doesn't advertise the dunks or AF1s with those holes as a primary feature like they would, say, some Shox. It's just a part of the shoe design in general.
