Sorry, the item had not shipped there is no reason it couldn't be updated.
That's not poor service jack *!+. As a company they have to set a cut off for when orders can be changed/cancelled. For them, it's once it starts processing. They do it to avoid confusion and mistakes. It would be much easier and less riskier for them to just have you return them and reorder.

jack *!+?  You are kidding, right?  This is what has become of this board over the last several years.  Little kids offering their opinion on something that doesn't concern them.

And yes, its poor service.  The item has not shipped. What does "being processed" have to do with them crediting my CC? The discount code is valid. Where is the risk?  Where is the confusion/mistakes?

Simple soultion-credit my CC the $20 differance. No risk, confusion or mistake.... Other companies do it all the time.  If you think its more cost effective Eastbay that Isend the shoes back, them log into their system and issue me a refund you haven't a clue.  Refunds/Returns are probably the most least cost effective thing for a company.

You are right, it's not their fault that I didn't enter the code.  Never once claimed it was, but they could have applied it yesterday.  Code was still valid when I called.

Funny, everybody on the board is all up in arms if their sneakers arrive from Eastbay and the box in dented....

If that's the case we certainly should have been able to help you, and I apologize if we fell short in that regard. Please PM me with your customer and order number along with the 15% off code and we will gladly review the order and assist you in any way that we can.

Instead of posting it here so they can see what you think of the service, why not pm them directly?

I'll say it again. Fall back son. Your a bum.

What's funny was that he said, "poor service". How'd you expect ppl to respond with that negativity? As a business, I'd be offended and wouldn't bother helping you get the difference back, which they shouldn't unless it was in a timely matter, not two days after the fact. Props to Eastbay reps if they can do this for you.

we seriously need a separate thread for problems like this or anything related to Eastbay.

I just want to know how people still get away with writing "your" and passing it off as YOU ARE....
the english language is going down the drain with the internet & texting.....

as for customer service, happy endings always rule.

I was thinking the same thing, but figured I'd stay out of it.

Well... Next time if you plan on calling someone a bum more than once, make sure YOU'RE spelling it correctly.

Anyways, How would everyone stack up the VI against the V? V is considered to be among many, one of the greatest basketball shoes of all time. Even to those who don't like Kobe. What do you guys think about the VI?

I think the VI is another classic addition to the Kobe line. I don't feel that the VI as an overall better shoe than the V. The V just represents greatness from the look and performance to winning a championship.

The VI is a classic in it's own right though, and I can see why some people like it better than the V.

For my two cents the Kobe V was the better bb-shoe and the better casual shoe.
I also like the colorways better. The Kobe V were more traditional in the colorways while the Kobe 6 colorways were more innovative.
My preference is the traditional colorways.
