Aint nobody out there rocking the Air James 8, right?
More likely that they would have a special edition of the shoe that has a foam upper at a different price point. Or even an entirely different shoe all together.

Please let the traction be decent...I feel like it's had to find a nike signature shoe with amazing traction...is that so hard NIKE??!!!

^ the outsole is one of the easiest places to put signature details or cues to the player.
unfortunately that means designers usually tend to stray away from herringbone.

I understand that the details and little personal touches can be expressed on the outsole...but in no way should it take away from the performance of the shoe. It's very simple to make it function well AND meaningful......

I agreee. Traction is huge. The Kobe iv had amazing traction as well as some of the lebrons. Seemed like you have to go to a sig shoe. Hyperdunks have been the worst for me personally. The AJ2011 had great traction!

I agreee. Traction is huge. The Kobe iv had amazing traction as well as some of the lebrons. Seemed like you have to go to a sig shoe. Hyperdunks have been the worst for me personally. The AJ2011 had great traction!

If you pause it at 4:07..thats like the best view of the shoe..other than that..it looks good on his feet while hoopin with JJ.

I'm glad that Nike finally has given KD a shoe worthy of his superstar ability. These are different than anything else out right now and they're still gonna be affordable. These should sell well. I was kind of interested in the KDIII but never pulled the trigger but these will be copped for sure. On another note, it's good to see KD and Joe Johnson putting in that work. Durant has become my favorite player by far because it doesn't seem like the fame has gotten to his head yet. I hope the NBA doesn't f up and cancel the season man. This year is gonna be Durants' year
