I gotta agree with you on that note. Ben Wallace is NOT a scorer and that is what the Bulls is very much lacking. The firing of Skiles is just thestart of what is to come of this team. Don't be surprised to see a trade or 2 take place before the deadline. The Bulls need a low post prescene to helpthe inconsistent shooting.

I cant believe it. It was not all his fault the players were playing like crap this year. He gave us a defensive mindset and hustle one of the reasons we beatMiami last year and give Detroit fits everytime we play them

I never thought dude was a very good coach...But maybe it's because I just don't buy into that whole tough-guy, micromanaging persona. It just wears onplayers too quickly.

Enter Rick Carlisle? With some of the coaches that are getting jobs these days, I don't see how Carlisle is still sitting in the ESPN studios.

I blame the players for the players playing poorly. I blame the team when the team loses.

If Pax felt that a change was needed, then hell, fire him. This Bulls team should not be 9-16 right now. Its horrible.

And this Bulls team has been good the past few years because of John Paxson. Granted, he's made some mistakes ..ie...trading Tyson, signing Wallace, notdrafting Aldridge or Roy....the whole Kobe deal.

I don't know........I hope this works.

I still want Kobe.

That is so ++@#$# dumb. The Bulls always get off to slow stops and they always pick it up near the end of they year. I BET they would of have the playoffs andeven get a 5th or 6th seed. Paxson is so ******ed with this move man. They always get off to a slow start

So Bulls fans should be happy we're off to a slow start ? Cause why?? Its worked the past few years ?

Enough is enough....sooner or later a team will not rebound from a terrible start.

And guess what Scott Skiles' record as a Bulls' coach is ..... .490. Not even .500 folks.

Sorry that the Bulls dont want to settle for mediocrity.

The blame should go around, but its not like Skiles won 60 games every season.

EDIT: and about your argument that just making the playoffs doesnt solidify a job. I completely agree with you, the goal of every NBA team is and should be towin a ring. But when your team has a core of young dudes like Deng, Gorden, Hinrich, Nocioni, throw in Ben Wallace, and the 2 top 10 picks we gave you for fat%%!#, i think the Bulls should have had a little more patience with Skiles, and not overreact after a bad start after yalls had 49 (i think) wins last seasonwith a young and talented team like that.

Merry Christmas to me. Skiles does not know how to coach. He gets the most out of players when they are young but then when it is time to take them to the nextlevel, he fades. His rotations were god awful, he did not use Tyrus at all. I would expect to see a monster in Tyrus real soon. He is pure energy and if theycould get a coach that plays an up and down offense, I would be very happy. Maybe the season will fall apart and we can draft a good guard in this draft andget rid of Gordon.

Keep laughing, but the fact of the matter is if Kobe would have come to Chicago; he would have needed a decent supporting cast. If Deng would have went toLos Angeles, Kobe would be stuck in the same scenario he was trying to escape except he'd be in a Bulls uni.
