Im a big Randy Moss fan. He has been my favorite player since he came in the league and Im happy he is doing as good as he is supposed to be doing.

I remember last year on the Raiders they asked him what his NFL goals were and he said besides winning a championship he wanted to break Rice's 22 TDrecord.

So with one game left, one to tie and two to break it...you think he will do it this sunday against the giants? I hope he does but I think he will get one TDand tie Jerry.

i dont see whats stopping it. whenever the pats are inside the 10, or even the 20 for that matter, moss just becomes an even bigger target. that little"throw to the back shoulder" pass is money whenever theres one on one coverage, and when the pats go to that shotgun 4 wide 5 wide set in the redzone, that pass is unstoppable even if you have help over the top

It doesn't really matter, Rice got the record in a short year(I believe it was 13 games)

*Waits for Moss's personal hype man to come into the thread*

Thats not what the record is tho. Its 22 Recieving TD's in a single season. Granted Rice's 22 in 12 games is a far more outstanding acheivmentbut the record isnt 22 in 12 its 22 in 1 season.

Either way you look at it no one has ever done that except for Rice. In 16 games T.O. didnt do that, Marvin Harrison, Tory Holt, Issac Bruce, Chris Carter, TimBrown...none of them. Only Rice, and now Moss will join him.

i dont want him to break the record, rice is my favorite player of all time

but it still won't be as impressive as rice getting the record initially during a strike shortened season..
I agree.. 22 in 12 is just sick.. Over a 16 game season, Rice was on his way to get 29-30 TDs that year.

I hope he doesn't get it. Rice would have probably got 28-30 TD's if it was a complete season.

For some reason I don't see Brady or Moss breaking the records. I do think they will beat the Giants, but Brady sucked@##$ against the Jets and hurt hislock on breaking Mannings record.

I think he'll get it but it won't me as amazing as Rice's in 12 games. Not taking anything away from Moss though.
