In my opinion the first half of this decade trumped every other era by leaps and bounds.

Ultraflights, Zoom Flight 2K3, Zoom Turbine, Hyperflights, BB4's, Stunners, VC 1, The MORF Series, all come from thinking that is WAAAAAYYYYY out of the box.  And that's just some of the ones that were drastically different from the norm. Even the other companies were bringing it. Answer IV, XBeam Franchise, Tai Chi's, Mad Games, Silky Smooths.

There are tons more.

Going to have to disagree, even though this is when I was in high school.

The whole shox thing was overrated.

I'd have to go Mid 90's...

Shox wasn't the industry changing tech it was advertised to be but it was very competent cushioning and some fantastic performance shoes used shox.

VC 1, 2, and 3, BB4's, Stunners, Elevate.

I really admire this era for taking a ton of risks. Innovations seemed to be the number 1 priority.

Even top of the line sigs these days go relatively by the book.

i'm gonna go with the mid to late 90's as well...mostly because of the jordan xi and the first few releases of kobe's adidas.

I can honestly say, and anyone can co-sign, even these youngsters ebayin and searching for kicks for this era, The 90s is when it was "poppin".

You had kicks that wouldve lasted you for a long minute. No bullssh bout worrying if your Flywire was gonna rip or if the shoes are good for blacktop... Negative...

90s> any decade.

Preach my dude, preach.  Now you got kobe's ripping in the middle of indoor pick up games.  I dont even want to think about what would happen to them outdoor.  I remember I used to play basketball, football and tennis in my Jordan XIIs and they lasted me like a year.
