The REAL Golden Era was 2000-2005.

I'd go with 94-99 or someone like that since other companies were bringing out classics as well and quality was amazing but 00-05 was very solid. A great decade really

It's amazing how many of you guys in these thread are stating the same stuff that I am thinking of lol. I think that if a guy has a pair of Ultraflights, he has a pair of Zoom Flight Turbines and Zoom Flight 2K3's as well. Those three guard-based shoes are some of my all-time favs in mode of performance and amazing design. And boy do I ever miss the GP line. My fav sig shoes of all-time. Zoom Flights with the monkey paw and zip-up sheath, I's with the rachet-ski buckle and first ever basketball Alpha Project shoe, II's with the integrated chassis stability system (still one of the smoothest and sleek looking shoes ever), III's with the MORF tech, and IV's with the shiny upper and full-length Zoom. I was sad when he signed with Jordan Brand.

Also where were the skins available once I had my GP3s I never found any available unless I bought a new pair

There are essentially no pics on the net. Kicksology had some great ones but the site's not up anymore. Some people have the site archived like I did on my old pc, but don't have them anymore.

Skins were available at various online retailers, Nike, Eastbay, etc.

As far as colourways:

GP III - Black/White, Black/Black, (base packages, inner shoe is Silver/Black/Orange)  White/Royal, Crimson/Grey, (MORF Skins)

Pip V - Black/Grey/Red, (base package, inner shoe is Red/Silver/Black), Black/White/Red, (MORF Skin)

Kidd - Royal/White/Black (base package, inner shoe is Royal/Silver/Black), White/Black/Royal (MORF Skin) .

completely agree

there were a grip of shoes that came out in  02/03/04. there were so many different and forward-thinking designs. of course you had the hyperflight, turbines, xoom  ultra flight, 2k3s. the uptempo series was good and a lot of good TB shoes.....air max elite, air uptempo ultramatic, uptempo maximum.

when shox first came out i loved them. the shox supremacy were some of the the most comfortable/best shoes ive ever played basketball in,  i beat those up on the courts. the limitless and elevate were nice too.

the VC sig line was underrated and you had duncan's/garnett's nike sigs. the first duncans were crazy
