I'm a baseball fan. I don't wear aj1 but I have the Jeter highs. Hell I have lot of shoes I don't plan on ever wearing. I don't like the bb but I like the theme of the shoe. I'd much prefer it was an 87. Tbh I only got a pair for me bc a friend asked for help so I figured I'd get myself a pair if was going to the shop.

Inspired by one of my first AF1 purchases. I think I used my lunch money to purchase the OG on clearance LOL. I was so accustomed to seeing AF1s with leather toe boxes/vamps, so creases would be inevitable. The colorway is what struck me initially, of course... then I saw the toe box/vamp was MESH on both the colorways. I had to give them a shot! Years later, they eventually became my daily's because of how comfy the mesh felt. This design is a nod to one of my favorite AF1s.

Got in 4 pairs of my first order, which was 8 pairs. On one pair they put metallic silver mudguard instead of the gold. Pretty disappointed. Not sure about the other 3 yet until I see the other 4. Def returning that 1 so far. Dont want to keep all other 7 unless I really like them

Thanks! Yeah, I held off on buying them until I found a nice dark wash pair. The right shoe's toebox is mostly that wash, as well. Now I just need a pair of Far Outs since they're available below retail.

I’m definitely not an Air Max 1 connoisseur…only own two pairs. But I think the Crepe Hemps are one of the most slept on sneakers in a few years.
Price was way too high out the gate and that hurt them imo.
I can easily see them being one of those shoes that resell for big money somewhere down the road.

Yes, supposedly - and according to inside sources they will be a true 1:1 retro (not some differently designed 'homage' type thing like those 'Urawa' and 'KRSS' pairs we saw recently). An actual retro, similar to the upcoming 'Grand Piano' (Phantaci) retro.
