prices in the UK are high on everything due to taxes in the UK. Import, business, sales, socialized medicine taxes. All of taxes gets passed down to the consumer. So you get higher prices. High prices in the UK nothing to do with currency exchange rates.

You are talking about why the price overseas in higher (in US dollars) than it is domestically. There are a number of factors that contribute, taxes being one of the them.

Currency conversion is an independent issue. The dollar has been relatively steady against the pound for the past year.

People are under the impression that because something costs a specific amount here, it is "supposed" to cost that amount everywhere, which is why they attribute those price differences to currency conversion. But, that's just not the case.

I have heard if you order 2 or more pairs of shoes from size?,  they use faster shipping with tracking. So your looking at spending a MIN of $300 to get that through size?.

I have only made a single shoe order through size? and it took about 2 weeks.

Have you ordered from them recently? My blue suedes came in double boxed and that was the only thing I ordered.

Thank goodness Clot used a Hyperfuse. Regular AM87 with its horrendous shape would be awful.

as far as size? shipping goes, you guys are right about when ordering 2 pairs.  they ship via express mail international when you order more than one.  ordering one pair, however, only gets you regular royal mail international, which cannot be tracked and will get to you in a minimum of 2 weeks or longer.. those who have received it in less than that timeframe is an exception.  

i've ordered numerous times from size.. sometimes one pair, sometimes two; and NONE of my orders ever came double boxed.  however, all the times i have ordered, the boxes came in better condition than when i get orders from FNL or nike.

there is definitely something to be said about simplicity, especially on the clean '87 silhouette ... but idk i'm just not feeling those Clots, who knows, maybe they will grow on me with more pictures, maybe it's the material idk idk idk idk
