The new Monotones might be the most uncomfortable pair I've ever owned. Wore them today and everyone who said they run tight/narrow is 100% right. Unfortunately I bought them from my buddies shop so I'm not going to return them. Hopefully the stretch and loosen up a bit over time.

monotones are def made for those for a narrow foot, i wore mine, and i have narrow feet,  and i still had to loosen up the laces up front.. none the less the monotones are really nice too look at though.

way better in person than in pics.

Man, seems like these these (537383 010) just vanished on all the US sites. I was hoping to get these on discount at some point. I could've sworn there was pretty much a FSR on NDC last week.

...I saw them on the size? link (which is why I posted about them...). I'm just saying that I'm surprised they're pretty much gone from sites like NDC and FNL since I was hoping to get them at a discount like I have with all my other Air Maxes...

Just pulled the trigger on a pair of those monotones off of finish line. The pics posted in here made it an easy decision for me along with the $90 price tag. Also found a pair of the birch/atomic teal am1s  for $36 at an outlet.

Love the quality of material and practical colors. But it's kind of crazy to see how far the am1 has changed from its original shape.

Those are technicaly air Maxim's.

but still nonetheless, the AM has changed shapes dramatically over the years.
