the US peeps can keep this crap imo

i have stacked tons of old AM1s in my collection, i even have AM1s with the old shape

that are manufactured in Korea and Vietnam, peeps from nowadays probably dont know that they even exist

im good for the upcoming decade with my gems no need to buy shoes with midsoles that are marinated in dog piss

i dunno what you are talking about
mean.gif

but i have AM1s from 97, 98 and 99 that are still wearable

if shoes from 2005 or earlier will crack when you wear them

nobody would buy the AM1 viotech, safari's and the USA's anymore
the air unit has expiry date mate.. i have 1 pair of air max 1 from 2004 which is ok, i have air max 95 from 2000 and the air bubble lasted 6 years...

If you have all AM1 red since the OG in your collection then those are a must have imo....

it all depends how you store your shoes, and how the weather environment in your country is

i have 5 pairs of black OG mesh AM1 from 99, 4 DS and 1 worn the air unit is all rock solid from all the pairs that i have

the only pair with a slightly soft air unit are the leather AM1s from 97 and 98, but they are still wearable

i hope you are right..i have maaany pairs that i m worried about  :S

i lost 4 pairs of sneakers(The am95 and 3 am97s) while i was studying in UK..there was some humidity in the area in general but i was taking care of the sneakers by having electric heater in the room i stored them..unfortunately i did not save all of them....

the word "limited" gets thrown out and this thread jumps triple its average in posts by mid-day.

if i were you i would save the money in your pocket

and try to obtain a older AM1 OG Red release from 2005 or earlier
I appreciate the sentiment, and I wasn't able to cop on pre-order anyway, but im not looking for any AM1, i wanted this particular pair because it was signifcant to me.

AM95 and 97 are notorious from the fact that they will crack very easy

if you dont wear them on a regular base especially the pairs from 2000 or earlier

and also storing your kicks in a room with the electric heater on is not a very smart move imo

that will dry out the midsoles from the shoes on a long term base, what will shorten the wearability from the shoe

the best thing to do is keep them in a dark and cool place like a garage or something like that

and try to wear you shoes indoor a couple of hours once in the 2 months to extend the durability from the midsole

what i also i have heard but never tried before is to take the insole out from the shoe and spray the top from the sole with some water

in a plant spray so that the midsoles absorbes the water and get moistured to prevent the midsole from drying out or cracking

The presale idea is smart, but not when the shoe is already done production. I'm not sure if accounting practices would even let them do what I have in mind, but if they want to completely kill bots and the struggle behind getting hard to buy pairs, open up presale before the shoe is done production. Let the consumer order stuff when it's still in the look/see sample stage like they were personal shops.

Question for you guys.

So Nike is obviously pushing 3.26 HARD .... its the 27th anniversary tho... and odd # not like the 30th anniversary or anything... can someone educate me... or is this Nike cashing in on the Air Max popularity, which is totally fine...

thanks in advance

Question for you guys: I have a pair of the AM1 Hyperfuse QS in white/royal blue. Some parts of the upper have begun to turn yellow, starting with the netting part. Any suggestions to get rid of the yellowing? RIT, sea glow, etc? Thanks in advance...

your shoes are screwed now, you should've thrown away that paper long time ago when you got the shoes

that **** is straight up garbage and will mess up the mesh, midsoles and icey outsoles from your kickz
