THE OFFICIAL AIR MAX 1 THREAD

the mesh toebox on my og red and obsidians have yellowed - jason markk is now ineffective

thinking about taking it into a shoe cleaning business so they can work some bleach or something into it, thoughts?
Have you tried the RIT and laundry detergent method?

RIT?

I'm confident jason mark is as effective as laundry detergent on shoes, aren't they?

jason mark helped a lot but the toebox is still yellow
ive worn my obsidians plenty of times and havent yellowed yet. maybe just take out the paper from the shoebox to prevent any further yellowing

rit is the brand and they have a product called whitener brightener that removes yellowness on mesh and clothing... some people use it on concords, i guess you could use it with JM.

repped for the pic.

they shouldve just done that "vintage" treatment instead of the volt. do they realize that when shoes age/yellow, they dont actually turn bright green? i wouldnt haven even been mad if it was piss yellow, but volt? ruined it :smh:

i'll try it out but if that doesn't work i guess i'm taking them to a shoe cleaning service

thanks

They don't hate their job.

They have an elitist attitude towards people because they work at mercer and deal with expensive / limited products.

For the most part, they are in fact,
********.

I know a couple though and they good people.

No disrespect to anybody who works retail, but it's hard to be elitist when you work at a damn sneaker store.

That applies to FC too.

Yeah the workers are similar to Supreme, but worse because I feel like shoe stores should at least have good customer service. At 21 Mercer it can even be hard to tell who's working. The employees also suck at approaching customers-"What do you want?"-for example. NTNY is way better in comparison.
