exactly. tongue popping been going on for the longest time, like before mj's first season in the nba were peeps sticking out their tongues.

wear it how you like.
 
popping tongues from sneakers was already a trend back in the late 80s, its nothing new lol

that is also the reason why the inner tongue tag from the AJ4 is stitched upside down

i personally also loves to show of my tongue, especially from my Hold Tights, Navy Shima, UTT and the AM90 D-town 313

it wouldnt be a problem i think

i have 2 pairs DS at my home, and my 2 pairs look wearable imo

but on the other hand i live in europe, here is no such thing as a humid climate like in some places in the US
