the tongue part is "smooth synthetic" it looks really nice with the mesh, these exceeded my expectations
I only paid $50 when it was all said and done with a 20% coupon, $50 gift card they sent me and 7% back from eBates

Can anyone let me know how the am1 engineered mesh fit? I wear an 11.5 in am1 but am wondering if i could make an 11 work in these?

the EM is a little poofy, so they be a little tight if you sizing down.

yea. I got my usual 11. I have 10.5s in a few (non EMs that is) and I wouldn't consider a 10.5 in EM.
