In regards to the NikeIDs...

How do the mesh/wave mesh materials hold up in wet conditions? (Rain, puddles, wet roads, etc., etc., etc...)

Also, how's the synthetic leather? Is it a soft leather or is it like the hard TPU leather that they've been using in the recent (white based) Air Jordan Retros?

Yeah, it came very close, the only exception being the swoosh. While I was making it on ID, the 3m swoosh looked like it contrasted the other grey areas more, but in reality it blends with the grey of the upper until it makes contact with light.

I've seen about 3 air max 1s on there I'd pick up now if I wasn't practicing self control. So difficult at those prices though. The pair you're getting is definitely on the list. Nice pick up.

nicely done! i might finally cave in and put the order in ah! how do they fit for you by the way? that leather looks great, but not sure red leather would look hmmm.

The suede, like others have said, is not the greatest quality. I can deal with it though. I felt better knowing I can just drop it off and return it at a Nike store, but I'm going to keep them. My only "complaint" would be Nike cheaping out on the boxes now. I still have me Nike ID box from 2004ish when I ordered some AM97's. Nice thick box and lined with suede. Now it's just a regular plain black box.

ha i hear you man. how do they fit on you by the way? I haven't bought an AM1 ID since the denims. thanks!!
