Yessir, I usually do the finger on the toebox check, Mann....joints were buttery to the touch

Pretty much a sad  reality that the old shape will never come back.

I agree. It bothers me a lot with the retro Jordans that release because they end up looking like cheap lifestyle boots rather than basketball shoes.
I have a lot of love for shoes from this era, but they simply ignore the shape issue. I passed on a lot of releases just because of it, but I'm sure most don't notice or don't care.

And don't get me wrong, I'm not the biggest connoisseur of AM1S, but once you see the greatness of what could have been shapewise, it's hard to unsee.

oh and let me throw in, if they decide to 'Remaster' the AM1S don't bother, they did nothing for the shape of the toe on the Columbia 4's remaster. I wouldn't expect much more than different materials and slightly better QA on any new remasters.

Hey Guys, I'm new to this Forum.
I'm reading your stuff for 6 Months, and I want to ask you where can i found this Air Max 1.

I couldnt find them in Germany, only one OnlineShop did have them. But they are sold out, a few months ago.

Luckily I could buy them for my little Brother(GS).

The Sneaker Store where I work, did only have them in Black, Green and Red.
I hope you can help me, and i also did read that they were Deadstock
