Haha but for real...so weak. The insole will rub off, couldn't give us an HTM box..the 2014 HTM came with the Dubraes. I think the AM1 should have came with HTM tongue tag, Dubraes and/or lace tips and box would have been ideal. I mean it was the shoe that started it all, it should get the special treatment.

So after picking up the Safari's from AM con as my first pair of AM 1s, I wanted to pick up the 2013 OG obsidians, with no luck. I will NOT pay those prices. So after looking around for a pretty OG looking pair, Ive decided on picking up these. I dont know much about AM 1s and im not going to act like I do. I just know what I like and ill do my best to get them. I picked them up from Jimmy jazz for $66 after shipping. Ill also attempt the toebox reshape with them. What do you guys think about my first everyday pair? Im just happy to join the fam.

Welcome to the fam! You're having a tough time finding 2013 OG obsidians? What size are you? And those are def a nice starter for an everyday pair

Thanx. Im a size 10. I found a few on ebay but its $330. I really dont need them that badly but I may pull the trigger in the 2 range. Unlikely im sure.

I checked on IKEA's online site a couple of months ago and they had size S-L available. I physically went to a store and all they had was a large. What the hell is that man? Plus their store layout is so confusing.
Those AMs you posted are nice for an everyday pair. I also slept on the Obsidians on RD and I had to order them from a shop in the UK. I believe it was from Size? but this was in 2014. Your best bet is the resale market now, good luck with your search.

You can appeal the case.Dont know where to post but I just lost a paypal case for some AM 1 BHM. I sold the shoe to him back in October 2015 and now this @sshole decided to file a claim about not getting the shoes and he still f*cking won the case! What the hell is that! The tracking number is not showing up anymore because its been 5 months. I even provided evidence of a recording (all in one shot) that I shipped the shoes and dropped it off at post office but paypal didnt even look at the sh*t! Anybody in here lose a paypal case before and was able to reverse that by calling them?

Here are three pairs under $200 on the bay worth checking out, if I was a size 10 I was snag the 2006 iDs up in a heartbeat, great shape - but you may not care about that just yet haha. But the 2014 skyline may be more up your alley with a similar spin off an older classic from 2003 that has a simple color way, and lastly 2006 Skulls pack which are a tad pricey.

Not mine, Clot inspired ...thats what the "metallic silver" midsole looks like in person, was hoping it was more grey and not as shiny.

I'm starting to feel the same after seeing pics. I just received shipping confirmation on my pair. I'm hoping they turn out better than expected but I'll just return them to my local Nike store and remake them as a regular AM1iD.

umm have you not read any of my post since ive joined? i hate all things new tech. hahaha, nah im joking. but real talk, some heads can confirm that im the first one to cast shade on tapes, moires, ultras, BRs, hyperfuses or anything else thats new age super techy. i dont even like zeros. i dont believe it was a design put away and forgotten by hatfield. the numbers dont add up. its a conspiracy to get yall to be hyped about everything he does. the materials and design is just a deviated anomaly in the sequence of chronology. just doesnt look like it fits where they say it does.
ford didnt draw up the delorian with 2.21 gigawatts on the flux capacitor, put away the design and said, ehh lets go with the model T instead. thats what the zero feels like to me.
anyway, htm are blah in my opnion. alll new tech hybrids lack that timeless, clean cut design. they all look like just a cool variant of an OG design that i would rock as gym sneaker. the only newish thing ive even remotely considered is the am 1 v patch paris. and i wouldnt break a date for its ending bid.

I agree with you with reagrds to Zeros. I dont know a lot about Nike or AM history.
I feel like the Zero story is BS.
But I bought Zero id anyway LOL not because of the history but because I wanna try them.

I believe the air max zero actually. Artist and designers do a lot of brainstorming and sketches before they end up with the final product. It's not far fetched for him at all to have designed the zero before the one. Honestly Tinker most likely has a couple of more sketches that look nothing like the one or zero at all.
