is retail for a pair of Air max 1 safari 2016 a good buy in the after market? are there pairs around in the retail market? and/or will it drop in value?

What kind of question is that? Why wouldn't retail be better than a marked up aftermarket price?

I scour the bay every day and best I've seen is 250 obo. The price hasn't dipped much and is still floating around that 250 mark.

I remember when these came out and everyone complained about the shape, like literally thats all you heard in these threads was how trash the qs's were. Fast foward a few years and now they apparently look good. Can it get any worse to the point people will be saying essentials look good in a few years from now lol?

Build quality and shape suck on these is what I'm saying.

But the classic colour blocking looks good.

They are junk though.

Not even the mesh lines up parallel on each shoe.

Was Nikes darkest hour of QC.

Oh ok, gotcha. They do look nice in your pic but the color seems a bit off to me, at least on my pair. And thats pretty sad about the mesh

real talk, im not even a fan of the "good" royals.  them second gen joints look like old man house slippers.  might as put 3 straps of velcro on them.

Dang bro that's good! So I didn't end up doing it... I almost never pay resale and I couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger....I ended up IDing a pair inspired by the OG mesh's

I'm going to honest - I had bought a pair of the tan royals - and I was really disappointed with the shoe/look in real life.  i don't know...maybe it was the blocking, stitching...but just the way the shoe was put together did not make it seem like it was premium.  Had to return it.
