I'm a lifelong fan of nike, i barely own any adidas.  Just very frustrated with today's release. The chart was indexed to 100 so it was showing the gain in share price of adidas vs nike over the last two years.  who cares if nike has more shares outstanding and runs less debt than adidas.  let's go with P/E ratio instead, same story...  just facts... very sad facts..

The last time these came out didnt they sit? I remember the am97s sat. The blue and reds sat as well. Maybe Nike is trying to stop these shoes from sitting. I dunno how these companies do not do a pre order system. Open up the pre order for a limited time, limit it to one per customer. Make sure they have a Nike account to limit resellers and double dippin, make us pay the pre order up front, make the shoes to fulfill the orders. The shoes still sell out the customer is happy.

It's no secret that adidas has been gaining ground but Nike is still worth almost three times more. Period. If they are playing basketball Nike is beating them 93-33.

I don't want to build anyone's hopes up, but if you guys remember, Nike did this type of release with the yellow Air Max Zeros where they released early (late February, I think) and then it re-released on Air Max weekend.

I'm just throwing out a wild guess, but maybe this is what this type of release is supposed to be.

my friend went to DSMNY and was told that wristbands were handed out early in the morning. They only had 10 pairs supposedly.
