THE OFFICIAL AIR MAX 1 THREAD

I apologize, I wasn't calling you or insinuating you're a Teddyesque fan. Simply stating, it's something  similar to what they'd post.  That said, Adidas has a long damn way to go to get to Nike's level. They're killing it at the moment, but I don't think they're going to sustain it over the long haul. Moreover, they have a lot of years, if not a decade plus of catching up to do. Nike will conjure up something to regain the hype momentum, you can pretty much guarantee it. I don't even know whether Adidas has even passed Sketchers yet. When they do, then I may be concerned ...
all good, i didn't think you were.  i've been very frustrated with nike lately.  they try to charge us $180 for flyknit airmax 1's and countless other products that just sit on shelves until they go on clearance, still don't sell, and then give you the 20% code for clearance items that then hopefully clear them off the shelves.  Then they remaster one of my holy grails, but stock less shoes than could equip a football squad.  i don't get it.  this was a tough L for me today.  everyone seems to love the NMD's (not me) and ultraboosts (they're fine) but adidas seems to be doing it right from what i gather, just enough hype without too much.  i think the yeezy's are trash.  anyway, i'd just like to see nike pull their sht together.  one new product i love is the lunarepic, i can run for miles and miles in those.

Anyone ever done orders on limited releases with undftd recently?

Hopefully their shipping doesnt take 2 weeks, especially since I live Los Angeles.

(thanks in advance)

Now onto day 4 with the model they based all the new shapes off of

2004 Urawa Dragon

Nice pair!

But I don't believe a single word "they copied the shape" off the uruwa. The Toebox looks complete different.
Could you make a comparision when you've got your pair? As I don't have an uruwa.

I've done an order, but I live in NYC so it took about a week to get my order to my doorstep.

Nike forgot to do everything, because there's no way that the toe wrap on the new OGs looks like the Urawas, it's square.
Yeah some other older cws seem to resemble this new old shape better than Urawas do.

Understand the L and it sucks. I've actually been buying more Adidas (Asics had a good 2-3 years of my time, too) shoes than Nike lately and I'm running about 400 pairs deep (afraid to count because I don't want to know how much I've spent over the years). But in general, I was buying Pure and Ultra Boost before Lord Ye ever slipped his foot in a pair for the press. I still buy a ton of Nike products from shoes to clothing and can empathize with your stance. I'm just extremely fortunate to buy my stuff with either a military discount, personal relationships, or Swoosh. So although I buy a lot, 95% of the stuff I purchase is 20% - 40%, plus my ebates.

All-in-all, Adidas' recent success has been nothing short of impressive; however, to a degree, it starting to go a little stale IMO. I simply do not see this tear they're on sustainable 4-5 years down the road. These little Beasts will grow up sooner or later and I'm not expecting Kanye or the Kardashians to be as relevant during that time either. Only my opinion, but time will tell all.

also, i thankfully have no idea who teddyesque is.  sounds like he's a real johnson.

From 1996 to 2006, Dell had a larger market cap than apple, but lower P/E.  how'd that work out.  anyway, nike needs to cut this sht out.

Apple essentially created/popualized three new revenue streams with iTunes, iPhone, and iPad. Let me know when adidas does that.

Nike giveth and Nike taketh away. What a joke.

Glad I have HOAs and 09s like others here. This move wasn't for us, it's intent was strictly targeting adidas market share.

It wasnt even worth a quote, but understand why you did it. I wanted him to keep believing his story.

I can't remember the last time Nike hasn't ruined a release. I don't know why they don't copy jordan brand. Jordan brand always makes ogs widely available like the cement 4s, space jams, even breds seemed easier to get than these.

If they make it this hard to get online then hopefully they balanced it with nike stores and boutiques getting a grip.

exactly! so dell's larger market cap didn't matter.  thank you for your market cap lesson, mr warren buffet.
