I give up with this release. Undefeated had a huge line here in Vegas.
The fact that Nike here in Vegas didn't have it is ridiculous.

So I was heading to kith in soho after leaving their BK location (picked up NMDs from a raffle. Took an L on am1 raffle).

I decided to just chat it up w some employees and let them know the am1 was my fave am of all time. One worker goes, what's your size we may have a pair for you.

Long story short. I was able to finally have a pair of sport red am1 back in myPossession thanks to Kith!

**** man. what time?

I was at cncpts. walked out with a 7.5 :frown:

super rad though. I should talk to people more.

bummed for the guys in here everyday and even the johnnycomelatelys that struck out today.

really hope we get a wider release around amd. just doesn't seem right to have this big to do about the remastered shape and release a run so limited but it's Nike so why be surprised.

Dang. gonna be in vegas for 3.26. Was hoping it wouldn't be as bad compared to LA. Guess not.

UNDFTD La Brea has 70 people in line at the moment. So no go for me!.

Here's to hoping for good Vegas luck on AMD

I'm a lifelong fan of nike, i barely own any adidas.  Just very frustrated with today's release. The chart was indexed to 100 so it was showing the gain in share price of adidas vs nike over the last two years.  who cares if nike has more shares outstanding and runs less debt than adidas.  let's go with P/E ratio instead, same story...  just facts... very sad facts..
NKE is much cheaper on a P/E basis than it has been historically, and I think it was the worst performer in the Dow 30 last year. Debt directly impacts EV, not market cap.

Here's a bearish take on it, though I don't necessarily agree: http://www.barrons.com/articles/nike-needs-a-breather-1481954901

Nike views sneakerheads as a tool. Sneakerheads help build brand hype, which allows Nike to sell more of their other shoes and apparel to the mainstream. Nike could shut down the reseller market immediately if they wanted, but again, the resell market adds to hype. So I think the cost/benefit of the Air Max advertising campaign has to be looked at holistically (across the entire business). Having said that, I'd be surprised if these didn't re-stock.
