You never know.

It's obvious that by making the release of the OGs there's been ALOT of chatter about them.

By the way they did the OG packaging with dustbag, my gut says that they made them into a collectibles play. 

EDIT: a part of me is thinking that we might get a GR of the AM1 without the dustbag and "OG-style" box in the standard packaging... But as others have mentioned, it's likely just a play to push the updated models.

Nike would be smart to make the Atmos into a semi-GR or true QS release. It would not only make up for the OG fiasco but also do right by the people who got burned by the garbage Safaris they released last year (I'm still fuming)

saw that sneakernews posted something about them....but i thought the ones with the 3.26 on the tongue were just ultra 2.0s. Does that mean they are going to make OGs with a new tongue but still do ultra's
 
If you thought you’d seen everything Nike is releasing for this year’s Air Max Day by now, you were wrong. Today we catch wind of yet another Air Max 1 dropping for Nike’s own holiday, featuring the original red colorway with 3.26 (Air Max Day) logos on the tongue. So far only spotted in Gradeschool sizing, this latest Air Max 1 compliments the wide variety of colorways and iterations of the famous sneaker dropping this month, including the OG release this past Saturday and the updated Air Max 1 Ultra 2.0 in the same red colorway. Like many of the other releases for Air Max Day not actually releasing on Air Max Day, these are scheduled to release on March 16th.

For gods sake I just want a pair of og reds, why the hell couldnt they just make enough for anyone !!!
 
idk if it's the fact that everyone seems to be a "sneakerhead" today or Nike playin' hype games, but it's pretty sad that even cats on here who are "in the know" can't get their hands on these at retail prices. Good thing I stopped trying to play that game Nike and even other brands are doing nowadays.

To wash away some of my saltiness...a under-rated GR from '06. These have been sitting in my basement forgotten for a while after getting worn pretty hard. A little "Shout" and scrubbing got them looking pretty good again. Great materials and correct shape on these too.
