Lab products rarely go on sale from Nikes website
Maybe other sites will discount them but I can't remember a time where a product from the Lab page got discounted. They usually just pull them completely by that point

Anyone who has the reds comment on comfort? I have these, and while they look good, they're really not very comfortable. Maybe my memory eludes me, but I recall the OG reds I had in '87 being very comfortable, feeling the air unit compress with each step. Either they're making the PSI in modern AM1s too high, or the context for comfort was diff back then.
Also, why would they spend so much energy re-doing this shoe without making the air window larger like the OGs? I recall that being so much larger in length and height!
Even if I could get the royals with no effort, I'm torn. I like them for the nostalgia, and improved shape, however, they're just not as comfortable to wear overall compared to the ultra versions of AM1s (and AM90s). I'm done buying shoes I never end up wearing much.

yeah i didnt see the other pinnacle 1s from last year get discounted if i remember correctly. either way they are super nice and hand and worth retail to me at least

Yup, that was the shoe that came to mind as well. Might just pull the trigger sooner than later anyway..
Those Pattas sting everytime I see them smh.. could have had for the low so many times back when they released

Ugh yeah, I bet that is rough knowing you coulda copped cheap. I see those images where they have that "Sale $89" red price tag on em and It makes me wanna cry.

Yea it was something crazy. Super cool but not sure I'd ever wear it. It'd be more like a trophy and truthfully I don't want trophy shoes. I want shoes I can wear and I wouldn't be comfortable wearing a 1 of 1 sample of an iconic shoe like that.
