I think we can look to the Presto to figure out Nike's strategy with the AM1. It's no secret that sales of AM1s have fallen off over the past few years. Part of it is due to the cliffy toe. Part of it is due to over-saturation. When Nike brought back Presto in 2015 they did so with limited NikeLab drops and limited OG colorway drops. They slowly opened the flood gates with OG colorways in greater numbers and new colorways to the point where a FTL.com search for "presto" produces 96 search results. This is Nike's effort to breathe some life into the AM1 and the end goal is to sell hundreds of colorways to soccer moms, not to sell a few OG colorways to us; as unfortunate as that is.

Is it safe to say that it's pretty much impossible to find a DS or VNDS Crepe Pack AM1 in a size 12 these days?

Yes, it stays logged in.  However, when I log out and re-login, it prompts to re-verify, and won't accept the number I used to verify on the other account.

id say strong to quite strong maybe to DS, NDS or other variant of this condition is out there.  just depends on what size youre speaking of.  im pretty sure ive seen VNDS or even DS in the recent history.  at a pretty penny of course.

I honestly don't know exact numbers. I know there wasn't quite as much hype but they were limited to boutiques. I wasn't able to hit for the Unholy Cumulus on ndc but I was able to place phone orders at Kith and St. Alfred.

at the end of the day they're just shoes.

I'm sure everyone here has enough other pairs to keep their feet covered if by some chance you're unable to cop the elephants.

there's always another release coming
This

I was just having a little fun that's all haha, I'm cool with anyone who wants to come in and chop it up about my all time favorite sneaker

Thats what the forum is for, right? Just don't ask the same questions over and over - reading is key

Yes not everyone is as knowledgeable as others on the history and etc etc - clearly it doesn't make anyone "better" if you know more I mean its a f*cking shoe lol, but.... it does suck when someone gets the pair you want when that person doesn't seem to "collect" the model that you have grown to love..

But I think we can all (myself included) get a little salty with the way Nike is handling these AMD releases

Limited numbers, draw systems....def doesn't make you feel like you can get a pair easily

So best of luck to all of those who genuinely want the shoe

temple90 temple90 I can tell you that 90% of the pairs Ubiq has are already spoken for regardless of the raffle tmrw

waiting to see if Lampstone is holding a raffle cause honesty that's your best bet in the 215

Not sure about Georgetown but the Philly Ubiq raffles are always bogus/rigged.
Georgetown will likely be the same then. No info is available about the raffle (that I've found) other than 'in-store raffle 3/16' and I tried to call to get details and the number was disconnected. They're the only place I've seen in DC that is carrying them though...
