Yes, it stays logged in.  However, when I log out and re-login, it prompts to re-verify, and won't accept the number I used to verify on the other account.

Just logged out & in on both ipad and iphone apps (different emails). No additional verification.

I think there's a timer or some other variable; I've had both experiences. I was previously able to verify on diff accounts with the same number, but not today....Maybe there's a velocity setting on phone number as well. Maybe it would work in a few hours or tomorrow.....And Google Voice doesn't work....
