The Official Anime & Manga Thread Vol: 三

SAO 2
This episode makes me wish they covered Laughing Coffin more in part 1

Yeah, i'm happy they've made a return and it's a good callback to the first arc, but I would've liked them to be covered a little more. Heck, we didn't find out what happened to them until just now. They just disappeared in the first arc.

One of the most asked questions at our booth all year now has an answer. Cowboy Bebop will be releasing on home video in December! Fans will have four options for purchase:

The two Premium Editions will each feature different packaging and premium items, but their precise details will be announced later.

Great episode of Space Dandy this week. One thing stood out though...
The zombie apocalypse episode was canon? The whole universe was zombified. How did they all turn back to normal?
I'm wondering now what other episodes are canon cuz there have been episodes where Dandy has died, Dr. Gel has died multiple times, Dandy has been stuck in the future, etc...

Akame ga Kill! ep. 6 :wow:
RIp Sheele. what a way to go. :smh:

was just coming to post this.
she should've been cut that bit in half though, instead of retrimming her arms again

crazy to see a character on the "good" side go out like that though, koro was still snacking on her arm at the end of the episode.

rip sheele

another note, really enjoying stone ocean. it has a certain seriousness to it like part 1. kinda wish hamon would've continued along side the stands though.

Akame ga kill

I like it, I really do. But ppl getting too hyped(reviews I watched). Nobody gonna point out how sheelle basically let that ***** live. Standing there after she cut her arm when she shoulda be going for her head. And then I like how the monster had her in it's mouth and just stopped to let her talk

I'm prolly in the SUPER minority but I enjoy slow pacing at times. This show a little too fast paced that it affects the writing

I noticed that too. Very interesting. I had a feeling there was more depth here than initially thought

Episode was cool as hell.

Who would've thought Honey wasn't just another ditz

Dandy definitely could've slayed Scarlet if he wanted :pimp:

That Pine Pine chick's mass :pimp:

Come on son, spoilers! :smh:

I agree that this fight could've easily went in a different direction though.

Like Sheele clearly saw that ___ get filled with lead and recover, so why would she think her cut would be enough to finish the job? That was just stupid.

Then there were mad times when Sheele was fighting that girl one on one where she could've took her head off but just didn't. Especially after cutting the weapons off of her arms; she had a clean shot at her head.

Finally, when Sheele used that flash of light, Mina definitely could've gotten a full-powered blast off that killed ol' girl and then escaped.

I'm just mad that I knew this would happen because someone in the comment section of KissAnime spoiled it :smh:

Lol my bad I edited it but yeah Bruh. I clicked 2sappys's spoiler earlier :smh: that's how I found out. But it was very predictable anyways. You could already tell kinda

Word, they were just NOT on point the whole battle. Hell, it happened later in the episode than I thought it would.

just wanted to clarify. the people up on mars are human right? cept that the grandpops got mech awakening powers and all the knights are his son in laws? and the people that live up there are rich and ****?

From my understanding, everything you said is spot on except for the son in laws part; not saying it's wrong but I don't remember seeing that get mentioned.

I just understood it to be a case that when gramps got the powers, everyone else knew what time it was and fell in line accordingly.

I thought the princess mentioned this last episode that his descendants all have that power so he married them off to the Knights or something like that.

At the same time .... that doesn't really make sense cause I don't see how marrying the daughters off gives the Knights powers to control the mechs.

I caught her saying that only his descendants had that ability but might've missed her saying that he married his descendants off because of that.

That's a good question though, maybe his family's ability is something that can be harnessed into technological advancements that can be used by anyone.

Like, given the fact that he's ill and they haven't shown her parents; maybe someone doesn't need to constantly be feeding that power into everything for them to work.

How mecha heavy is it, I've generally stayed away from most mecha animes.

I too usually avoid mecha anime like the plague but I love this. It's odd, because there is a LOT of mecha usage here, but the main character saves the day relying damn near entirely on his knowledge of science.

I actually threw that first sentence in there because I felt like we have similar tastes too

I feel like you won't regret giving it a shot. Hope I'm right :pimp:
