Fairy Tail is bringing out quality chapters, this arc started poorly imo, but has gotten so much better.



Also I was randomly thinking about ACE yesterday or One Piece.

I wonder how Strong he really was. i mean 2nd in command of one of the greatest fleets.
was always riding dolo.
His opponent was someone super strong but at the same time he was pretty warn down and beaten up already. he didn't display Haki, but it may be safe to assume he had it.

Sabu is using his power pretty well and sabu was strong without it.
I just always feel like Ace should have been/was/is better .

I don't usually care about Characters that we don't see much of. but these recent chaps got me thinking.

Sabo's mentioned he's having trouble using it, which makes sense cause he's had it a couple hours at most. He'd also probably be getting bodied without the fruit helping him deal with the gravity.

Ace was no joke and he was fresh when he met blackbeard, but even Shanks was worried about Blackbeard at this point. Blackbeard also would have been the 2nd division commander for WB if he had wanted to, but since he didn't Ace got the job. I felt like Van Auger's comments during Ace vs. Blackbeard made it sound like at some point Ace stopped relying on his powers during the fight and went back to basics since Van Auger commented on how his basic fighting skills were top notch as well. We also know Ace only had his fruit for 3 years at most, could have been less as well. All the top fruit users seem to unlock more abilities with it over time. Crocodile said he's constantly honing his devil fruit. Blackbeard had been studying everything to know about the yami yami no mi, plus it's an op fruit. On panel though we never saw what Ace could fully do. 

I wanna see where FT takes the rest of the arc. I can see it going downhill quickly depending on how much is left to go after this fight. If the arc ends after the next fight it will be a weird and abrupt end. I'm reserving judgment until the end. I have little faith in Mashima's ability to deliver consistently at this point. 
 
Just finished the Captain Amagai Vs Ichigo battle. That finishing move "Gouen Ryuga" by Capt. Amagai is ridiculously ill. Best technique so far in this series. I'm at episode 189 of "Bleach".
 
yea people sleep on Bleach fillers.

I've liked them. i say this all the time about the Bounto arc. i still think best filler arc in most exercises.

Bount Arc was terrible man... It made me want to quit the series then, turned out I should have. Hung on till the fullbring arc which was even worse I dropped it.
 
full bringer had potential, but indeed was let down.

but what was wrong with bounto I thought they were cool and that 3 way fight was classic imo. one of the better in bleachistory

I watched the arc back in high school, so it's been a while since I've seen it. I just remember it being poorly executed, very boring and unappealing, and nonmemorable in plot and characters. After Soul Society the whole series falls off, imo. Soul Society was great, but for that to follow it up, even if it is noncanon is terrible.
 
Word I'm bout to watch it when I get home. I have to catch up big time on my anime, I wanna say I missed two eps of HxH and two of Akame ga kill as well
 
The feels were real in the last HxH episode. It's gonna be interesting to see how they wrap up the series in the next 3 episodes
 
Not sure how to feel about Naruto.

I think the latest movie kind of made me not be so hit with feels.
 
One Piece!
That Luffy/Law tag team!!!
It was obvious Doffy was gonna use Bellamy as a puppet, but that switch so Luffy could hit the real Doffy with a Red Hawk this early in the fight! Damn. Then Law using Radio Knife. I love how creative Law's moves are, a radio knife for those wondering is a surgical tool that uses a high frequency electric arc to cut through tissue, while also sterilizing and sealing blood vessels. 

Law would have been the 3rd Corazon, we know the 2nd was Doffy's brother, so who was the first? Interested in this flashback, surprised we didn't get it in this chapter.

I hope sugar getting knocked out doesn't ruin Robin's chance of a 1 on 1 fight. She needs one bad. 

Interesting Doffy said the same thing about Bellamy that Law said to Tashigi in PH about weaklings not being able to choose their way of death.

Trebol and Doffy will get serious now. I'm excited for the rest of the fight. Hopefully it'll force Luffy to bring out some new techniques.

The series isn't over, is it? There has to be more stuff to do, like getting the people out of those tree pods for one. :lol:
It does feel like the end of an era is approaching fast though. :frown:

Bleach
Oh dear lord, that fat quincey is a cupid. god help us all. :lol:
Those two in the end were dead a while back, right? So they are zombies now I take it.

One Piece
Dat wombo combo... :x
Could that really have been the real Doffy though? Maybe he can make multiple string puppets.
Needless to say, I want more please. :lol:
