I was scrolling through the Latest Update page of my go-to site a few hours ago and saw something with "-gatari" at the end and did a double take

Didn't even know that this existed/was supposed to be on the way. If I didn't have a strong feeling that I would fall asleep in the middle of it, I'd be knee deep right now, going ham on the play button in an attempt to catch the quick text.

Glad to hear that it's interesting though :pimp: I have something to look forward to tomorrow.

It's interesting in the way the series usually is, but...
That shower scene near the beginning, jesus.

Also, I am still waiting for Niseimonogatari. I want to see what happened during that summer break.

All in all was the FMA manga dope or not?

Yes. As I said previously, before it ended it competed with Naruto and One Piece in terms of general popularity; and in terms of the writing for the series itself i'd place it above the other two. Really had everything I think a person could ask for in a story. Good characterization, interesting cast, unique powers, solid fights, and a plot that goes deeper and deeper, with more than a few twists and turns.

I thought I had already watched a ton of anime this year but I missed out on no game no life, haikyuu and silver spoon

Only the first 2 would bump off other shows from my top 10 of 2014 list though

Fate / stay night was pretty good. They make the dynamic between Rin and Shirou so melodramatic and complicated though. She was trying to serve him the yambs on a plate but dude is stubborn. Rin alternates so much between being really nice to him to and being tough on him. I know she does it so he doesn't get himself killed. I wonder if Caster is evil every time they've had this holy war. You'd think all the other masters and servants would've learned to kill caster early.

I saw Magi mentioned in here a few weeks ago and started it up. Liking it so far, it's different from what I usually watch. I like the story. Will check out Berserk next.

I stopped Kill la Kill. Not really into it.
