He did die in the anime, but it had already diverted before that point so it didnt matter what they did.

I enjoyed the Anime, and I still thoroughly enjoy the Manga.
awesome chapter. a lot more happened in this than the Anime.
IIRC she died in the anime, here she's not dead her spirtual power is gone, so she's basically an empty shell but still alive. and the boy tatsumi is in beast mode now.
esdeath is still one of my favorite characters in Manga.

Damn, Senor Pink... Finally got the reason he dresses like a baby and that short flashback really hit hard.
This chapter also answers the question of whether or not devil fruit users can have children.
Franky with the terminator eye (apparently Oda has a life sized terminator statue in his office). Also finally the return of Franky Boxing, i've been waiting for that.
It's interesting that the princess tears can restore inanimate objects as well at the cost of her life.
Break next week then all we have left is the major fights.

Franky doesn't have a terminator eye, it's just part of his shades
The flashback is cool but this chapter is the perfect example of everything wrong with Dressrossa
This fight had to have started in 2013 and we probably got 2 or 3 chapters actually dedicated to it. It was mostly single panels of Franky getting suplexed or them striking stupid poses
The fight had no real development; we've only seen two of Senor Pink's moves including the suplex. But now Oda has to shoehorn in a conclusion simply because this arc has dragged on way too much and he realizes he has to get to the final battle.
He's been doing this with every executive except maybe Gladius
