Even the fight with Zoro and the samurai, it could've been way more intense.

After Thriller Bark OP gets really good, then REALLY REALLY good, and then really bad.

It was explained and his reasons are legit i think. Especially with fairy tail disbanded and him and natsu disagree what to do.

Bout to say i knew someone was missing from this chat.
Thriller bark was one of my fav arcs. The most comedic arc hands down. Only one close to funny was enels arc.

I just read a summary of thriller bark & watched like the last 5 episodes which was basically the only important part of the arc... literally everything after that from saboady right up to the time skip is absolutely flawless & prolly the greatest sequence of events I've seen in anime.
& is fairy tail any good? I tried watching a couple episodes & it seemed childish. Does it get real at all? Or are there any epic arcs?

Idk about the details in Thriller Bark not being important. Ryuma should come up again in Wano, especially since Zoro not only has his sword, but he's the most famous samurai from there. Moriah is still alive and seems to be in the New World and Absalom is running around acting like a reporter. Moriah has his grudge to settle with Kaido. Stuff goes on there, it's just a divisive arc, like Skypeia seems to be.
Also don't waste time on Fairy Tail. It's not very good.

It was someone trying to explain how Trebol dodges attacks that seem to cut through him, even though he's not a logia. Basically someone asked on 4chan or arlongpark how Trebol dodged Ussop's attack that cut thru him if he's a paramecia and someone drew that diagram saying he just balled himself up like that and Ussop only cut the coat. It's fan madeSomebody explain this to me. Oda must be smoking that good good.

Aizen the only interesting thing left in Bleach. We missed him.
To those questioning his powers, it was stated during the Ichigo fight that he was basically immortal and the Hyougoku (sp?) was keeping him alive and constantly changing/growing. Ichigo basically knocked him out long enough to chain him up.
But sitting in the darkness alone with his hyougoku it makes sense he'd be learning more about it/himself and getting stronger. He doesn't have to train, just figure out how to harness more of it to enhance his already overpowered abilities.
He needed a nerf in the middle of the espada arc. Now it's too late so enjoy the ride.

Ah Idk about the Ussop thing I just went back to look at the cut. Law's cut have just been one of his normal cuts that doesn't actually harm people and he added the electricity so Trebol would have to wait a few minutes to reform. If he's a logia then the conversation from this chapter makes less sense.i understand the actual image. Romcom 2's first episode is out, and it's already as good as I remember.
That first episode brought it all back.
Strong trap game to start it off, and the mixed feelings from everyone are still there.

Idk how far along you are, but if you're trying to catch up quickly, then watch alabasta, then at skypeia switch to the manga, because that's the point the pacing switches to 1 chapter or 1.5 chapters per episode. If you don't care about that then watching is probably find although at Thriller Bark you might want to try OnePace. It's the anime just with all the filler scenes edited out.

For the Spring anime lineup I think i'll watch kekkai sensen, Owari no Seraph, and I always liked Lupin III so that was an automatic

I'm trying to tell yall: DON'T WATCH THE ANIME if you aren't caught up with the series.
One Piece's biggest strength is its story. Just read through in the manga. The events of Marineford, etc have that much more impact because of Oda's attention to detail in his artwork. Oda is a detail freak. Little things like Vista and Yasopp giving each other the mean mug after the war go ignored by the anime team.
Manga>>Anime. Go back and watch the major fights on Youtube. But read through the manga to get the real experience.

Nah that's BS, I watched the anime up until punk hazard till I caught up and then continued with the manga and I still watch episodes every week. As long as you skip the fillers you good. Especially since you get to marathon it you'll enjoy it even more.

I'm gonna add food wars and Baby steps to my spring roster. Just watched food wars first ep and it was kinda funny. Funny in the sense that they prepare food that's so good it makes people orgasm when they eat it and they make it in an over the top anime way
And baby steps seems to be the standard sports anime but I'm already invested after watching the first season so why not. One thing I've noticed in sports anime is that the protagonist never really wins. Like they don't ever pull out a trick or some how get the advantage. There's a better person and they lose

I used to read the manga and I don't remember it being like that at all, so it's hilarious to see all of the comments about the anime in here so far
