There's an anime called 'Another' that sorta fits that. A little more horror though. It's on Hulu and crunchy roll.
The gist is that in this cursed school there is "another person" that doesn't belong. And death don't stop until either the class number balances out or the other is found

Just read it. Definitely fanboy. Im saying they ran into each other just outside and that was a coincidence.
Stuff is about to happen though based on that ending. Hopefully "He" returns.
I doubt the new chapter will make it into the anime if they decide to follow the manga for the second season. Im guessing, if they do decide to stay with the manga for the second season it will be the whole civil war arc that just concluded. It will end with the old rule overthrown and Histora being crowned queen. We'll be lucky if we get to see this for a third season, if the series goes that far.

I was just bored one night and couldn't sleep and Decided to read Slam Dunk and it's just a fire as sports manga.
I generally hate sports mangas but I have to say it impressed me. I guess the second one you suggested will be on my next read list.
About to read the new chapter of AOT before the game starts...

was gonna suggest Lost+Brain but it's manga only as far as I know. Short manga, around 27 chapters but kind of has the same feel as Death Note.

Since this is page 666 i'll go next with some devil/demon related manga/anime
-the devil is a part-timer (the devil isn't serious all time, he is actually a somewhat funny guy)
-Blue excorcist (the devil's son really doesn't get along with his father for family time)
